lemon and garlic hemp hummus
Recipe type: condiment, appetizer
  • 1 can chickpeas or 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1/3 cup hemp hearts
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • zest of a lemon
  • juice of a lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and process until smooth.
  2. Add a little water if needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Optional: garnish with additional hemp hearts and lemon zest.
