lemon and garlic hemp hummus
Recipe type: condiment, appetizer
- 1 can chickpeas or 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1/3 cup hemp hearts
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- zest of a lemon
- juice of a lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and process until smooth.
- Add a little water if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Optional: garnish with additional hemp hearts and lemon zest.
